Hispanic Hispanic 100 Foundation Mentorship Program Student Interns Needed

We’re excited to announce a unique paid field study opportunity for Winter Quarter 2026 as a Hispanic 100 Foundation Mentorship Program Student Intern! 

 

About the Opportunity 

Hispanic 100 Foundation [https://www.h100foundation.org/] is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders through mentorship, scholarships, and leadership development. Through their Mentor Program, Hispanic 100 connects college students with successful professionals who provide guidance, resources, and support to help emerging leaders achieve long-term success. 

 

This year, the UCI School of Social Ecology is partnering with Hispanic 100 to launch an exciting expansion of their Mentor Program to include Social Ecology undergraduates. We are looking for two dedicated students to help bring this program to life! As a paid student intern, you will be instrumental in bringing this impactful program to our campus and supporting the next generation of Latino/a student leaders. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Support mentee recruitment and outreach efforts 

  • Assist with workshops and Saturday sessions hosted at UCI 

  • Provide program logistics and communications support 

  • Help onboard and launch the cohort of mentees 

  • Build meaningful connections while developing professional skills 

 

What You’ll Earn 

  • Paid stipend at $16.50/hour 

  • Field Study credit and guaranteed enrollment in Social Ecology 195 (with a possibility of 195W if eligible) 

  • A potential for extended employment beyond Winter Quarter (NOT guaranteed) 

  • Real-world experience in program coordination and community engagement 

  • Amazing opportunity to work with the Field Study Program and Influential Latino/a community leaders 

 

What We’re Looking For 

We are seeking committed students who are: 

  • Organized, reliable, and excellent communicators 

  • Passionate about engaging with and supporting the Latino/a community 

  • Passionate about mentorship and supporting fellow undergraduates 

  • Available to work at least 8 hours per week during Winter Quarter 

  • Able to assist with monthly Saturday sessions at UCI
