Our new UCI Social Ecology Career Mentorship Program just launched this Spring 2026! 

This opportunity allows you to get matched with a professional mentor in your field of interest and meet one-on-one throughout Spring quarter. Open to all UCI Social Ecology students. 

• After students completed a short interest form, they were matched with an experienced alumni or community partner based on their individual interests, goals, and where they are in their academic journey. 
• Our professional mentors come from a wide range of backgrounds in criminal justice and law, psychology, urban planning, public policy, environmental science, and more. 
• No matter where you are in your academic, research, or career journey right now, this program will give you the space to ask questions, gain insight into a specific field, and explore career options. 
• You will meet virtually or in person with a minimum of 3 times throughout the quarter.
